1998 MONTE CARLO OFFICIAL PACE CAR FOR 1997 BRICK YARD 400. WAS OWNED BY NASCAR DRIVER RICKY RUDD #10 TIDE This pace car was prepared by Indy for the winner of the Nascar Brickyard 400 in 1997. Indy asigned this car #50 it also has a INDY PACE CAR license plate #50. The license plate is installed with two different types of security screws. It has INDY and BRICKYARD 400 graphics. The winner of the BRICKYARD 400 race that year was RICKY RUDD. I purchased the car from RUDD in September of 1998 . RUDD autographed the dashboard , spoiler and license plate . I also have pictures of Rudd autographing the car and all documentation from Rudd Motorsports . Pacecar was purchased from NASCAR driver Ricky Rudd, who at the time was the #10 Tide driver. Rudd had won the 1997 Brickyard 400 and was given the car from Indy for winning the race.
