Chevrolet contracted with famed Choo Choo Customs Inc. to build 15 one-off special El Camino SS pace trucks. These were the only trucks to ever pace an IROC race. These IROC-S pace trucks featured the trademark aerodynamic front end design, IROC-S urethane paint in custom candy colors. All graphics, stripes and lettering are painted on. Approximately fifteen IROC-S's were built between '85 and '86. This is in incredible unrestored condition. Rebuilt transmission less than 3,000 miles ago. Brand new GM Goodwrench 350 crate motor put in less than 12,000 miles ago. New old stock Goodyear Eagle ST tires mounted on vintage Centerline rims. Original rims are also included. Factory radio, air conditioning, power steering, power windows, power brakes, factory tachometer and clock. Choo Choo Customs installed CB radio. Has its lights mounted to the roof of the vehicle, most others came with lights mounted to a bed mounted roll bar. Of the 15 pace trucks originally produced only eight have been found and documented according to the official IROC-S registry. This truck turns heads everywhere and is very well maintained.
