'69 Dodge Charger Daytona. Former magazine feature in Mopar Muscle and the British "Street Machines & American Car World".- V2 hemi orange- black interior auto console- 440 4bbl 727 auto (not original block nor tranny)- A32 Super High Performance axle pkg. 4:10 Dana- fender tag and broadcast sheet.- both jacksThis is a real solid car which has all it's original sheetmetal, including the hood, trunk and rear valance. Those are typical panels which often need replacement. You will be hard pressed to find a car like this at this price. The 440 is rebuilt to pretty much stock OEM specs and the transmission shifts great. The front power disc brakes work wonderfully and the front-end is tight the Daytona tracks beautifully. The car drives wonderfully on these magnums and Goodyear's. Runs and drives terrific. Jump in and go. New OEM correct tips. Looks great.. Presently, I'm changing out the master cylinder for a new one and doing some addition detailing, ie new battery cable, new MC brake lines, NOS speedometer cable. The biggest thing I've added is the GearVendor overdrive unit. I have tested it out and it works GREAT with the 4.10's, I love it. All the original parts comes with the car (727 tailshaft housing, speedo-pinion, driveshaft)The interior's in great shape with a perfect woodgrain steering wheel. Window's roll up and down effortlessly. Just got the complete new dash bezel kit and refaced the gauges, will look awesome once complete.. I have recently added a Pertronix Ignitor system in the car and it works great. Fires right up every time and cruises on down the road. I have the OEM single-point distributor. This is a real solid car and the only reason I'm looking to sell is I've found a Daytona that's closer to my father's former car he had new when I was my daughter's age now... Reserve the right to end auction for being sold locally as well. If you're looking for an awesome Mopar that not too many, if anyone at all has, this is it. Not too many Daytonas.
