This spectacular 3.8L Series One Fixed Head Coupe offered here was commissioned by Kurt Tanner Restorations and has just completed a total, rotisserie subframe-off, nut and bolt restoration to the highest concours standards by E-type experts "More Than Just Cars" of Upland, CA. Finished in it's original color scheme of Opalescent Silver Blue with Navy Blue leather trim, this exciting Jaguar has been completed with no expense spared. Thoughtful and careful upgrades include the full synchromesh 4.2L transmission, 4.2 style servo assisted brake setup and improved cooling system. This combines the 3.8L high revving engine to the best gearbox and brakes and creates an exceptionally good driving car. Details of the restoration include new show quality, bare metal body and paintwork, new chrome, rubber, correct interior trim kit, wiring harness, totally rebuilt and balanced engine with clutch and ancillaries, rebuilt gearbox, complete IRS unit with final drive differential, steering, suspension, brakes, fuel system, cooling system, stainless wire wheels with tires, etc.
