MG introduced the beautiful and streamlined MGA to replace the old-fashioned T Series in 1955. With a pretty redesigned body, excellent chassis and lovely road manners, the A was their best seller to date. This 1957 MGA roadster offered for sale here has just been subject to an extensive and superb restoration by an experienced British car expert. Finished in its attractive MG color scheme of Iris Blue with black trim and top, this California car also offers desirable options such as 48-spoke chrome wire wheels, heater and adjustable steering wheel. Upgrades include rebuilt 1,800cc 5-main engine, MGB gear box and taller rear axle ratio for freeway cruising. Details of this restoration include new paintwork, new chrome, rubber, interior trim kit with leather seats, top, chrome wheels with radial tires, braking system, wiring harness, fuel system, exhaust, windshield, cadmium plated hardware, rebuilt front suspension and detailed undercarriage. With today's high cost of restoring cars to this level, this pretty MG offers excellent value. Both collectors and enthusiasts alike praise the MGA roadster for it s performance, looks and importance as a post-war MG British sports car.
