My Ride - Page 1

The car was an original Montana Car and still has the Watson Buick emblem on the truck lid. Watson Buick was the Buick dealership in Helena, Montana in the 1950s. Most fasteners such as fender bolts, once broken loose with a ratchet, unscrewed by hand. The bumpers had a few dents and many scratches. Of interest is the State of Montana, for a nominal fee, will do a title search which goes back twenty-five years. At the time of my search I uncovered the ownership of the old car back until the late 1960s. A previous owner's family member in Townsend, Montana recalled her father owned the car and was very elderly at the time and "kept running into things and we finally made him quit driving". This accounted for the condition of the bumpers which I had reconditioned and re-plated by a business in Helena, Montana. Interior - is pretty much today as when I purchased the car.
